1. Clean surface: Before installing the EPDM foam seal, ensure that the surface of the installation area is clean, dry, free of oil, dust and other impurities. It can be cleaned with a clean cloth or detergent to ensure that the seal sticks firmly.
2. Size matching: Accurately measure the size of the installation site and select the appropriate size of the sealing strip. The sealing strip is too wide or too narrow may affect the sealing effect and the aesthetics of installation.
3. Avoid stretching: During installation, do not over-stretch the sealing strip, so as not to affect its elasticity and sealing performance. The seal should be kept in its natural state and installed in place by gently pressing.
4. Suitable temperature: the installation should be selected in the appropriate temperature environment. Avoid installation at extreme high or low temperatures, as temperature changes may affect the performance and installation of the seals.
5. Check Integrity: Before installation, check the sealing strip for damage, deformation or other defects. If there is a problem, the seal should be replaced in time to ensure the sealing effect.
